2000 Ford F150 Door Locks Not Working

I am buying a 2000 ford f150 4x4 with electric locks.

2000 ford f150 door locks not working.

The automatic door locks do not work. Checked the batteries in the key fobs checked the fuses checked the car battery. I have a 2000 f 150 and the power locks are not working properly. This is due to the battery dieing.

Please email me with where you bought these parts and if this really works. This happens with both doors and both buttons. The door panel will need to be removed. Most likely the door lock actuators have failed this is not uncommon for both to fail at the same time.

They do not respond to the remote. The power door locks dont work at all i have to use my key. I bet the noise kind of sounds like a humming grinding noise in the doors as you watch the door lock just vibrate. Its a real hassel.

Is that the most logical thing or is there something else i can try first. I just inherited my fathers 2000 ford f150. Specifically when i press the button to unlock or lock the doors the locks don t respond either way. Read that it might be an actuator problem not sure i can fix this.

Step 1 change out the battery on the keyless entry remote control if the car is not responding to the buttons you press.
